Google Cardboard Virtual Headset

by Anne Kostecki

Loyola University Maryland's Undergraduate Admission department wanted to design a branded VR headset to send to prospective students so that they can view a digital representation of Loyola's campus. I was inspired by an illustrated poster of vector elements that represent Loyola's culture. I designed the headset so that it had a clean palette of white and Loyola green, with clean vector illustrations. The final product was a unique execution of packaging design.

The finished headset was printed on a coated cardboard paper stock, with perforations and trim lines. The packaging includes magnifying glasses, velcro tabs, and adhesive strips for construction.
