Custom Double Cat Portrait

Kristie contacted me when she decided she would like a portrait of both of her beloved cats, and she knew she wanted a custom painting. She had great photos of them, and wanted their personalities to shine through. Smoky needed to look regal and strong, and Hermione's playfulness too. Both kitties loved to lay on their aqua blanket.
There wasn't a specific photo that had both cats in position on the blanket, so using about 4 different images, I drew a composition of all of the elements together. I got creative with the lighting and backgrounds, and decided to contrast the aqua blanket with a warm background. Kristie and Tim were so happy with the result!
