Caribbean Bridal Shower Invitation

I was so excited to throw a bridal shower for my future sister in law, and I wanted to center the theme around her honeymoon destination in the Caribbean. I decided to start with her wedding colors - an ocean blue with a peachy coral, perfect for a tropical occasion. After I received the details from my mother in law, I hand lettered the invitation, then scanned the lettering and vectorized it. To keep the palette light, I chose white lettering over a watercolor washed background. I was very happy with the result, and so was my sister in law and her invitees!
I designed and illustrated the card, and had it printed on Cougar White 80lb uncoated stock. The invitations were mailed in 70# white opaque envelopes with blue ink calligraphy.
